Eco-Oil is one of the leading waste oil collectors and processors in the UK and have been established for more than 20 years. We operate a national waste oil collection, processing and fuel trading network from our head office in Newport, South Wales, servicing industry, garages and shipping.

As part of the Baufeld group we not only blend waste oil into a Processed Fuel Oil to PFOP standards but also re-refine waste oils for re-use as base oils at our parent company's facility in Germany.

We offer bespoke waste management services for a wide range of automotive industry specific waste types such as mixed vehicle fuels, oil filters, anti-freeze, soluble oils and aerosols. Waste oil is collected in drums, IBCs or from tanks, and appropriate containers can be provided for individual waste streams on an exchange basis.

CHO POWER

CHO Power provides turnkey plasma enhanced gasification facilities which effectively transform any type of non hazardous waste (from mixed waste to the most elaborated biomass) by producing local, clean and continuous electricity. CHO Power offers many benefits : CHO Power's electrical efficiency can reach 40%; electricity is generated locally in a reliable and constant manner; the process accepts a wide range of fuels; the CHO Power solution is part of a sustainable waste management process; the units are compact and totally integrated into urban areas. CHO Power has finalized the construction of its first facility on an industrial scale in Morcenx (France). The facility is currently under commissionning start up. It uses 37,000 tonnes/year of ordinary industial waste from the region and 15,000 tonnes/year of wood chips. All the 12MWe of electricity is sold to EDF, providing power to a popluation of 50,000. The additional production of 18MW of hot water from the heat generated by the process fuels a wood drier.
